If they didn't have those laws all those people who do clean up after their dogs wouldn't do it.
I disagree. I clean up regardless of laws, or signs or what others would think. I don't like anyone getting s**t on shoes.

Fair enough. I've googled that now, but I don't understand what it was all about. The senate is a waste of space, time and money.

Re: Politicians: Hot or Not?

If you wouldn't call Lorraine Clifford-Lee that to her face, then you shouldn't say it here either. She's the only politician in the last few years that I've seen going door-to-door when there wasn't an election in progress.

I'd have no problem telling Alan Farrell that he is indeed an arrogant git.

Re: New pedestrian entrance to Newbridge park

I don't understand the 'safety' argument. I think nearer to the Beverton or Beresford estates would have been a more sensible location. Would facilitate more people, and would have reduced the distance children have to walk/cycle along the road.

I look forward to trying that bakery, and I hope it does well.

But I got distracted by their retweeted video showing Israeli soldiers pointing guns at Medics, and pulling an injured man off a stretcher to try to stop him being treated. WTF Israel?

Wriggle confirm that the restrictions remain in place until the iPad is no longer used for school work. I think the restrictions now are a bit more robust than previously used.

Community College iPads

Can anyone with experience of the Community College's iPads tell me if there is any disadvantage to buying the iPad through the school, rather than privately? For example, if they are locked down by the school supplier, does this makes them virtually unusable outside term time, which is about a quar...

Also is there someone who knows if there is a plan to improve the area between R126 and the Gallery? There is an ugly abandoned square field which really needs to be cleaned and it's not the only one... Isn't that the site with PP for Aldi? http://planning.fingalcoco.ie/swiftlg/apas/run/WPHAPPDETAI...

I was just thinking about paying advance to a house in Donabate. Do you guys reckon, If I should reconsider this. Take the discussions here as an indication that people care about the locality, and are keeping themselves up to date on local planning. Be aware that a 'relief road' will be built in t...

I wonder if in 2005, each lane resident had been offered a once off payment of €5,000 for the inconvenience, would they have accepted? I count 17 houses. That would have been much less than the total spent so far. I'm please to see that everyone has been co-operative with this bizarre arrangement, a...
