new road system

putting traffic lights on the new roundabout..... groan.

I know we irish are shite at roundabouts, so to to cater for the gobshites, put a speed bump 20 metres before the roundabout surely rather than a half arsed version?

and the road is too narrow,

finished rant.

Re: Hearse Road Closure

The wall that is being built runs up to existing railway Bridge wall so how would bridge ever be expanded?
The planning is as shite as we've come to expect.

Re: Hearse Road Closure

Expansion of road before railway bridge: they appear to be building an exit/entrance onto it off Prospect Hill development?!!!!

Seems there is more interest in getting the access done rather than the road widened, but maybe I'm just getting old and cynical. I assume a couple of houses going in there.

Might be worth another go Gillchan although I know what you mean. If you experience bad service, why would you go back and give them more money? To give them "another chance".? Not in this day and age. no point spending loads re-badging the place if you cant provide the basics. Lots of restaurants ...

Re: Public Meeting - Planning Moratorium - Tuesday 26th

Considering the Donabate Distributor road is opening up the area, and its 2019, does anyone know which sort of bike lanes are going to be on it when built? Is it the segregated lanes ones, very safe. Is it the painted a different colour ones, safe enough. IS the the normalish ones , white line seper...

Housing - Ballymastone

Recent leaflet drop by FF claiming they got a 80/20 split on private/social housing . Am sure there were others involved but I suppose this is good if true. a sensible split. of all houses to be built in Ballymastone: max 80 build this year, max 100 beyond that. Framework for village rejuvenation ag...

Re: Widening of road at bridge

They need to repaint the white line down the middle of the road on bridge approach at least for now, since its even narrower than it was. White Line Straddlers having a field day lazily drifting across the lane and acting all doh when you flash them.
