Re: Newbridge farm animals blocked from view

If this is due to people feeding the animals, why didnt they just put up another fence say 1 foot in from the original fence, using same type of wire fencing and then peoples views of the animals wouldnt be obstructed ???

Re: Destruction of tress in Newbridge Demesne

I was walking in Newbridge yesterday and near where the 'new' gate is and to the right of the house, there were a number of new trees being planted which I suppose is great to see. Although the area in front of the main gate does look a bit butchered at the moment, I actually like to see the wall be...

Datesd of posts

I think I must be missing something obvious but I can't see any option for displaying time and dates for when items were posted. Is it me or a forum thing?

Looks like progress, working at the moment, 50+ hours before a resolution isn't going to win any awards though.

Yeah, seems to only be Sky customers, I would wonder if someone's pressed a wrong button somewhere!

Taken 36 hours so far though and still no clue as to when it'll be back, just reading the T&C s and am surprised it mentions 10 working days! for fault resolution.

Fibre Broadband

With Sky for fiber broadband, haven't any access since early Thursday, so feeling somewhat peeved. Anyone else off and what story are Sky giving you? They're telling me it's a network outage due to Eir but Eir are saying it's not them, feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place with no resolution...

Re: DCC School Return Date

Hi - I'm looking for some advice. My child is due to start at Donabate Community College this August, however when I read the results from last year I put his/her name down for other schools. My child has just received a place in another school and I don't know what to do. I've heard nothing but ba...

Re: Condolences

I can tell you that I've made sure to give my kids an extra long hug over the last few days. One of them started the Leaving Cert this morning in DCC & then just before the English papers were handed out the examiner said they were to hold a minutes silence for Shetemi.

Stray Cat?

Small grey/brown tabby cat with white legs and a red plastic collar has been hanging around Turvey Drive today. Quite skinny and small, so presumably only young. Very friendly as well, currently curled up sleeping in our storm porch. We've given it a small bit of chicken and some water. If anyone kn...

Did the receipt not have a date and time on it?

First thing I look at when a voucher is given to me, rather than printed, is the date and time that's on it and if it's out input it there and then

Re: Getting into a junior school

Welcome to the forum. While I think alot of people would like to offer you advice, I think the bottom line is that it is up to the discretion of the school. All our children went to Educate Together here in Donabate and I can certainly recommend that school , you can have a look at their admission p...

Re: Donabate Community College ranking in Co.Dublin

I have a child in the current 6th year, and there is a very strong emphasis on study with a number of afterschool classes with their teachers so we're very happy at the moment. Just in case any of you have children in DCC, I see that the school will be closed on Tuesday due to the strike.
