Thanks for sharing

Now I don’t want to sound negative so please don’t take it that way, but is it just some fields at the moment and track ? Like no play park, cafe etc ?

Myself & partner enjoy a big walk on a Sunday (weather permitting).

This to me looks like another nice place we can spend Sunday Morning / Afternoon, then a pint or two on the way home 🙂

Is it not on the Lusk/Rush pennisula rather than the Donabate peninsula?

Still a welcome amenity for Fingal where ever it is.

It looks a bit barren. I wonder if trees can't be planted on account of whatever gas control measures are in place?

Trees shouldn't be planted on this site through risk of roots puncturing membrane sealing the dump beneath.

According to standards, these membranes leak at an accepted 20 parts per million.
A leak is a leak no matter how much.

Doubt very much if you'd ever find me walking there.
I've been on landfill sites in UK and that's enough for 1 lifetime.

My opinion, this site ruins the horizon when looking south from Lusk and should never have been sited here.

I would like to know what the results are from ground and water tests in the surrounding area, before and after completion of site.
