Bees need a new home!

Post by donnelbg » 08 Jul 2019, 11:43

Hi all,

I keep some bees (3-4 hives) currently up in Corballis allotments. I need to move them off that site and to somewhere a bit more secluded but local.

Anyone know of any farmers or land owners that wouldn't mind bees on their land? Car access would be ideal since during some months there is a bit of heavy lifting.

I don't mind paying a reasonable fee or barter honey for payment!

Thanks!

Hi, I remember seeing Fingal Beekeeping Association down in the Turvey Allotments. They have a Facebook page as far as I know. Think anyone would be delighted to trade for some local honey! Best of luck.

Thanks a million but really trying to find somewhere in Donabate. I only get a small amount of time to get up to the hive and manage it so looking for something close to home. Thanks a million though!

What’s this now? I hadn’t heard. Did the golfer get any bee names or bee faces?
